Privacy Policy

ThingFinder is made by Opiteq LLC. This policy explains what the app does with your information.

What ThingFinder stores

Everything you enter — places, rooms, containers, things, labels, notes and photos — is stored only on your device. ThingFinder has no account system and no server. We never receive, see, sell or share your data.

Photos

When you add a photo, the app shrinks it on your device to at most 320×240 pixels before saving it. ThingFinder keeps only that small copy, and photos taken in the app are not added to your gallery.

Permissions

• Camera — only to take a photo of a thing, when you tap Take photo.
• Photos / media — only to pick an existing picture, when you tap From gallery.

Backups

Back up everything creates a file on your device that you choose where to save or share. Opiteq LLC never receives it.

Children

ThingFinder does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.
